I was querying the comment in the previous post to mine that CF was "very talented" , that's all... so my question was asked in that context. Fair enough to those who think she was then and, as per the first words of my post, I was aware I was entering sensitive territory and I hopefully made it cl...

Had the penalty been given ... I very much doubt anyone on here would be disputing it ... my problem is when the "Sainted VAR" awards penalties that most certainly are not ... so perhaps VAR was re-addressing the balance for dodgy decisions the other way. Only February and I think we’ve found our prick of the year. Step forward Lord Beamish.

Sad sad news about Flack. Heard it on the radio driving home from the game yesterday, gutted. What a horrible culture we live in.

We won’t have taken the full allocation that’s for sure. Reckon we’ve taken 1,500. The club will have based that figure on how many we took to Reading on a Tuesday night in 1986 or something daft like that. If they have you can’t blame em when we don’t sell out for Man Utd or Everton on Boxing Day!

100% a better footballing side when he is in the team.

Gets us up the pitch, links midfield and defence, creates space and opportunities for others and works so hard for the team.

He’s light years away from Barnes who now should rightly struggle to get back in the team.

That’s why pushing the boat out early on this month would have been a sensible gamble from us for Bowen.
He’s got £80k a week and a relegation release clause at West Ham.

Maybe we did want him but the first phone call to his agent would have put a stop to that.
