Re: Ross McCormack

Don’t think it’s too unfair to say that Dyche has been excellent with goalkeepers, excellent with defenders, decent with midfield and a bit hit and miss with strikers. But that’s in line with how we play, and strikers are typically hit and miss at this level anyway. Generally? His domestic based str...

Evening, Hoping that someone could provide me with any information on the below programmes. I've got all home Burnley programmes from 1955, aside from the below which I'm finding it difficult to get hold of (some aways needed to, noted where appropriate). 55/56: Everton, Spurs, Wolves 56/57: Chelsea...

Went to Prague on a stag do a few years back and stayed a stones throw from Zizkov's ground. Looked for their results ever since and was chuffed with how it panned out. Znojmo must be sad. Must win to survive and lose 7-1!

Dyche’s football is pretty rancid at times, but he makes the best of what he’s got and the achievements are unrivalled in my lifetime.

So, for me...

Dyche
Coyle
Cotterill

Howe’s football was turgid. Laws was diabolical.

Think West Ham have had a reasonable season and certainly significantly better than last season. Pretty harsh to say they’ve been the biggest flop of the season - they were just standard West Ham away to us and Cardiff, both results which had a big impact on our season at the time. Sanchez is probab...

Alexander-Arnold is going to be top drawer. Almost a shame that England seems capable of producing brilliant players in one position, and it’s bloody right back. Wan-Bissaka is brilliant too, and of course Walker and Trips, despite the latter being out of form. Don’t get how McNeil having a good gam...

Dier should have been sent off for stopping a breakaway. Bournemouth arguably could have had a penalty for clumsiness by Lloris, but then definitely should have for a foul on Wilson by Dier, which would probably have led to him being sent off. He then incorrectly sent off Son. Got to be up there as ...

Tarkowski is better than Keane in my view. He's far bigger and more powerful than Keane ever was. Keane was excellent for us, but he had a tendency to be bullied from time to time. Keane was quick, I think Dyche said quicker than anyone else in the squad at one point, and a decent distributor. I was...

I’ve totally understood in the past why Mee hasn’t been selected for England. However, last season, and certainly the second half of this season in particular, h...
