Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS Jan 2020(MUST CONTAIN LINK)

Not going to come here to sit behind Bardsley though is he? Anyone who comes in is unlikely to start before the Norwich FA Cup game. I would say the most important things to sort first are a Centre midfielder and a Right Winger. I would like to see SOMEONE LIKE Phillips at Leeds (obviously won't be...

Re: Dyche - "Mike Rigg has had it tougher than expected"

I wouldn't be surprised to see Dyche call it a day at the end of the season whether we stay up or go down. We are in a Catch 22 situation. He is our perfect manager, but we won't (rightly so) spend £90k a week on a big name (who won't accept a 50% pay cut on relegation). So unless Rigg starts unear...

Perhaps the problem is that he's using the same analytics as other clubs so he's identifying the same players. We have to find good players that other Premier clubs don't want.
I'd be happy with us signing the players most of the better Championship clubs sign.

What’s it worth as a small prem league club? How much would you spend, how much would you invest each year and what % ROI would you want? Why do you think investors want a ROI? If it was easy to do that in the Premier League, then why are only Burnley being touted as a strong business model? I've s...

Not wishing to seem negative but... if we could, during this window, offload players SD doesn't want, Gibson, Hart, Vydra and the already gone Drinkwater, and carry on til the end of the season with what we have available, I'd see that as a step in the right direction for the future. I think the bigger issue is the dross we are playing on the pitch. I can’t help but feel a lot more people would be happy with our lot, if we weren’t so miserable to watch week in week out. Suggesting we aren’t getting any more new players, just tells us that dross is going to continue.

Nixon has this to say about Drinkwater to Burnley. Doesn’t sound likely to me as we will be asking to take him on reduced wages.

“Chelsea want to move out Drinkwater. On loan. He is on monster money. If they take less at the death he may have a few choices.”
