I went in April about 8 years ago. It's not that busy at all but busy enough so it isn't dead. It's a good time to go, I enjoyed it but I'd have hated it in July time by all accounts.

How is planning to go backwards considered 'forward planning'? Surely it would be a contingency plan.

He might do well for us but I'm struggling to think of players who have reinvented themselves at other clubs in the premier league having been out of favour for over 6 months. Probably, but if spurs wanted rid surely a deal could be agreed. If we are willing to spunk 50k PW on Hart and Drinkwater we must be able to afford his wages. Add to that defours wages off the books.

What's people's thoughts in this guy? Doesn't seem to be getting much game time at spurs and I think he would be a perfect fit for our midfield. Strong, athletic and needs to re establish himself again.

I am sure I saw something before Xmas about West Ham being after him and there was a price tag of 18million. I am not sure we could afford his wages though, on about 80k per week over there.
Inter want rid, I'm sure they could subsidise some of his wages. Even a cheeky loan bid.

Gabriel barbosa is being let go by inter, the player wants to come to England, and would be available for a cut price deal. This is the type of player we should be targeting. Young, had potential but lost his way a bit and is significantly better than what we have.
