It seems third kits are going crazier by the season... the crazier the kits the more re-tweets its get, weighed up with how many times they actually play in it, probably makes it worthwhile from a publicity point of view.

I tend to get sucked in for the major tournaments, not interested in anything else though, I’ll go as far as skimming through a match report on BBC Sport, that’s it.

I’d rather see Burnley win the League Cup than England win the World Cup to be honest

As much as we all loved Defour he's not a great example. For £8m fee and £5m+ wages we got 2 half seasons in 3 and a half years. Your missing my point, I’m saying if Burnley want to sign high calibre players - basically they have risk ‘damaged goods’... which isn’t a bad thing, if it works out ok.

Cheap was the wrong word. The point I am making is, the clubs with bigger budgets won’t risk injury-prone players.

Steven Defour wouldnt be anywhere near Turf Moor if he was fit. I bet a few clubs were weighing up it up, but Burnley were the club who to took the risk.

Delph has always been overrated in my opinion. But would do a job for us at Burnley... though won’t be value for money unless he keeps us in the Premier League. Tom Davis is your no bells, no whistles type of player... probably under appreciated, a sensible signing with ‘Moneyball’ kind of approach ...
