Re: Names on shirts

Deli Alli has his first name on the back now.

The name on the shirt has to be registered and then can't be changed in during the campaign. Neil Rudduck was fined £500 for changing the name on his shirt to Razer for one game.

Sad news. I remember him getting the guard of honour at Turf Moor when he retired. He became Aston Villa manager not long after that. Football was in his blood obviously.

A few crosses, or 'assists' as the kids are obsessed these days.

What I think he will bring though is a better transition from defence to attack.

You can see from the YouTube video that he can run, sprint past people but has no final product.

Re: West Ham Video

I think some people are missing my point. The guy in the video says 'football first', and I agree, but if you want to see your club at the highest possible level, you have to put up with the corporate b*****ks that comes with it, its a vicious circle. A football club is a business - fans are custome...

I suspect there is something unreported that has halted his development. He was a decent player when he left us. I admire his desire to carry on playing because its obviously not worked out at the likes of Blackpool, Bury or Accy. I hope he has a bit of an Indian Summer somewhere and establish himse...

Stupid video. As a football fan, if you don't like the money-side that goes on around your club, you can go about it two ways
  • Carry on being loyal, but ignore the money making **** that goes with it

Support a non-league club where you'll feel your support is even more valued

Joey is going to get banned anyway, even if its 3 games, 3 months or 3 years or whatever and I'll imagine that there will be some kind of termination clause in his contract depending on the outcome, but by that time, his people will have delayed the hearing that much we will will have had the best f...

Re: fao any Burnley fan in top tier at the Etihad

I noticed the same at the Reebok last season, the first couple of rows (certainly the first row anyway) were taped off. Obviously a health and safety thing, probably away fans tend to be more boisterous. I seem to remember a clip where a supporter fell from the top tier, was it a few seasons ago? It...

If we win tomorrow, id look forward to be nothing else apart from the 4th round. Dyche doesn't care much for cup c...

I've never asked for Dyche to go. I don't care what league Burnley play in. It's just my opinion that if Burnley want to be an established Premier League club they need a Premier League quality manager. That's simply my opinion. But if we fail to stay in the top flight, Dyche will eventually leave a...

I'm not 'jumping on the band wagon' with anyone, I'm quite happy to express my own opinion thanks. It's not a case of sacking him and then appointing after he's gone, but I think the powers that be at the club should be having a think about life after Dyche. Dyche will eventually leave, he will be poached or want a new challenge, but before he does, can you see Burnley staying in the Premier League this time around? I agree with the OP. Dyche has done a wonderful job, but Burnley need to look at stepping up to the next level. The team under Dyche isn't going to achieve that and I fear we will stagnate after relegation.

We didn't really 'wow' at any home performance, you're right. The scoreline flattered us against Derby, which incidentally I chose as our best performance. Personally, I think the best performance was actually the draw to Middlesbrough at home. We had to work really hard that night, the toughest opp...
