Re: Attendance today

Especially when attendances can be manipulated, for example, if a ticket is sold but the person doesn't attend they are still included in the publicised figure. Then there's the occasion when cash is involved and the attendance is supposedly lower than it looks.

Usually the match sponsor (basically the player they want to meet after the match) or alternatively, it would've been Daz asking informally asking around the press with a general consensus of who it should be.

We're getting excited because he's foreign and cost £15m. For most Prem clubs now that price range is a u23 / squad filler signing. We've not signed Mbappe here, or even a (fit) Defour. But if he contributes and makes us a bit better that'll be fine. I think some people on here are expecting a worl...

It doesn't seem that long ago that they used to announce it on the tannoy, and then subsequently on the big screen. Not sure why it has to be a secret for so long now. They stopped announcing when Paul Fletcher was Chief Exec., in the Championship. It was only announced when the attendance was over...

On the topic of kit numbers, against liverpool we put out a full 1-11 with all positions in the right number. Must be decades since that last happened in the prem!
The last time that happened was Charlton, I can’t remember the year they said, but I think it’ll be circa 1998-2001

Can’t find the attendance anywhere. Not hugely important in the grand scheme of things but me and my mate always play our own “guess the gate” for a bit of fun. The club could do with someone who would relay that sort of information, such as the attendance to the press… maybe we need a Media Manager?
