I know Benson is small but I'm not convinced we'll get away with playing 12.

I will have another listen, must have misheard him. No, I think you heard it right. The way I heard it was there’s a player (presumably Bastien) in the 25 who might yet move and if he does then a player who has been left out of the 25 has to take the spot in the 25. You can only look at bringing fr...

Another good interview on Radio Lancs last night. Really doesn’t spare any details. It seems the 25 man squad is in and we’ve left a player out who might be on his way to Turkey - doesn’t say who. Also confirms we can no longer sign any free agents. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0g9dkjn?partne...

Interesting how the club have labelled Tresor an attacking midfielder - not a winger.
Good signing. Very happy with it.
Shame we couldn’t get a left back when we had months to get one knowing which league we would be in.

I don’t understand why we’ve bid for Summerville. This fascination with wingers is bizarre. I presume this bid was lodged when Tresor got cold feet. But IF we are after another winger then I wouldn't be surprised to see Clarke from Sunderland now that he has let it be known he is unhappy with them.

I think for anyone giving him a nine he must have turned in one of the greatest goalkeeping performances ever in the first half. Muric 9 - Outstanding calmness and distribution which helped to retain possession and also helped us to start attacking moves off. You would hope it’s a ‘proper’ bid that has a good chance. And also if it’s rejected we move (very) swiftly onto another target we know we can get.

Not really the thread to discuss the game today but I thought the manager got it wrong and probably should’ve played an extra midfielder instead of Amdouni and kept it tighter in the middle. I’m not sure it’s particularly a ‘no 10’ that we need - just a ball playing midfielder/no 8.
