Josh Brownhill

He was SO far off it today. He was always 2 yards off the play. He showed zero composure on the ball and a huge lack of bravery and quality when he did get it. I could have done what he did and just lay the ball sideways and backwards all the time when there’s time and space. At this level and/or in...

A miss because we don’t have too many other effective options but, Villa apart (where he was sensational), Foster has been pretty poor over recent games.

Aah Tripps! Easily my favourite Burnley player of recent years. Consummate professional. The reason why he was so good at throw ins was because he threw the ball to a good area for the receiver, i.e. not at someone’s mid drift or at their neck, and then he had a plan of what he was going to do with...

Re: Throw ins

I think Vitinho just might be the worst player ever at Burnley at taking throw ins. Deliberates for what seems like an eternity and then just throws it to an opposition player. There doesn’t seem to be much a plan from throw ins. Trippier used to be very good at them.

Ekdal didn’t put in enough effort? What a strange take.
