Re: Stay up and win the cup
Staying up has to be the priority. I take winning the FA Cup provided that we lose at the earliest opportunity inthe Europy League ( Assuming the cup winners still get a place)

As someone said above, not Hull, Swansea or Sunderland and also not Watford or Boro or Bournemouth as we need to be able to play them all next season in the PL. So of the partly realistic other candidates this year:- West Ham because they have been gifted a ground, Leicester because it would be so f...

I'd take 7 now, provided we don't lose to any of the bottom 3. That probably means beating Leicester and 4 away draws.

What a waste. However SD clearly sees Hendrick as the future king pin and the lad is showing him why. Never thought I would say this, but maybe Deano should not be starting.

Just wonder if the way forward is for all political parties to sign up to an independent royal commission (given a tightish timescale) and to have a national referendum shortly after. That could put any decision to increase funding and/or a different system in the hands of the people, especially if ...

There is little point in signing a fast winger as most are too hit and miss for SD and therefore are unikely to get on the pitch. Re: REPORT: Wearside stalemate means Turf Moor replay
The 2 injuries might just force SD ( like Duff's poor game at Hull led to what was needed) to play our best 11 players (other than Boyd starting instead of JBG), with Hendrick slotting into the Arfield role. Thus allowing a Defour Marney pairing to start in CM and then Joey to replace Defour after a...

Why would Sunderland sell Defoe for any amount let alone £6m? They got him for free (apart from £4m a year wage) and they lose mega bucks if thy go down.
Even dafter why would we pay someone £4m plus a year?
Even dafter still why would we sell Gray for £10m when someone might pay £11m for Lookman?
