Re: Sad news, hearing another fan has passed.
Very sad - a sound lad and big Claret.
Bumped into him from a young age with another Padiham lad who went to many games up and down the country. Even with the MS taking its toll he would still make it into the Cricketfield to get behind the team. Always had a good chat.
RIP Monksy

Re: Return to Turf Moor Update
Genuine question; how would the club have communicated things like this in the pre-internet days? How about fixture changes? Telephone call or by mail? Not sure but I can say I caught the bus to Turf for night games mid to late 90's and walked down Brunshaw Rd confused when the flood lights were no...

Re: The killer of 7 year old Emily Jones found not guilty of murder
. Once the prosecution saw the medical reports they dropped the murder charge, as there was virtually no chance of success. This is normal practice, but as already said, in practical terms it will make no difference The only bit I question is why it gets this far when the prosecution will have been...

I suppose it just comes down to him thinking he'd do a better job than Tarks or Mee. And Dyche didn't think he would. Makes you wonder why we broke our transfer record for someone who'd be a bench warmer, barring injuries. You can't really blame Gibson for coming, he's obviously going to back himse...

It’s being filmed in a castle in Wales 10 minutes from where my daughter lives and works. I’ve been to the castle back in March pre lockdown and before they had any idea they might get this gig. 24hr Pendle Hill challenge for PH7 Wellbeing Charity
Two lads from Burnley about to finish 24hr of continuous laps of Pendle Hill. John and Scott started at 10am on Friday and endured hours of terrible rain yesterday. Managed to join them in the cold last night to support them for a couple of laps which was enough. They are raising money for Burnley-b...

We have solid wood throughout the downstairs, Karndean in the office.
The wood looks good, as does the Karndean but that is easier to keep looking neat and tidy.
I would not change either, not sure I'd have Karndean throughout the house.

Not related to football but...
Heard on the radio that the snooker was held up because of a player sitting in the wrong seat, which then had to be cleaned. Wondered if sports people will start to use covid-19 measures a tactic?
