Re: Dwight McNeil
Won’t benefit him from a footballing point of view if he leaves too soon. He can really crack on with us for next season and develop into an even better player. We’ve proved we can get players into England squads and Southgate is certainly happy to watch Burnley players.

Don’t want Dyche to go as his imprint is all over the club. If he did I would also like Chris Hughton. Just hoping we dont get a string of lacklustre performances if all is not well.

Good news. Could do with a young RB to train under him a bit like we did with Ward and Taylor on the other side. Certainly doesn’t look like a 35 year old when he plays.

I suppose it has to be lifted sometime but do I feel safe in pubs and restaurants ? No so I won’t be going. Reducing 2m to 1m will mean nothing in some people’s eyes. I’ve seen groups of young lads ignoring it for weeks. I’d prefer to see new cases numbers much lower yet.

Clubs with benefactors will be able to offer high wages. There will be less clubs overall offering them. It will be a narrower market for better players. Lesser players will be offered far less and by the majority of clubs imo. Without fans it is not the same product and some clubs will struggle now...

Reflects poorly on the footballers imo and proves my about the money for them. They’ve been well looked after and when injured. Prefer we get players on lesser money who are committed and with a point to prove.

Only watched 3 games as I’ve got better things to do with my time. Avoided the bore draws. As said above less play acting which I prefer. Saw some good football with the Wolves, Palace and Fulham games. But for Burnley I think apathy has set in a bit and I’m not desperate to watch it.

On a side note I wish there was a word limit with posts. If they are essays I just skip over them probably missing some good points. I was wondering if it was cash or vouchers. Cash would not be a good idea. Vouchers that can only be exchanged for food ( ie not fags and booze) ,perhaps with matching ID, would be if it is for the poorest in society. Nobody in their right mind wants to see a child go hungry.
