Lower Buck in Waddington is also good hearty pub food in a more cosy atmospheric surround. Especially on a cold day with the fire on.
Holmes Mill was all about burgers and posh hot dogs when I went. Not sure if they do a sunday lunch.

Re: Dyche post match interview
Very similar type of game to Hull City at the same stage last year. They were everyone's faves for relegation but ended up starting the season with a couple of wins. We drew 1-1 with that late Snodgrass goal denying us and a lot of people got quite upset about it. We went on to hit a very good strea...

Re: Ticket sales for Burnley Vs Hudds
We don't need additional capacity.
We haven't sold out at home yet this season despite a terrific start. Away tickets also rarely sell out too far in advance.
And if we go down again we'll average circa 15k.
The Turf is perfectly suitable for our needs.

A long night, fair play to Leeds, they were organised and disciplined, which is all they needed to be to keep a disjointed Burnley performance at bay. Given some people on here insist on criticising at least one incumbent player it's no surprise to slag off one that's left. Surely folks admire how well we defended our box though. And be very proud of that aspect of the performance, keeping clean sheets in the Premier League is not a mean feat. Reminded me very much of the game v Leeds in the Championship title season run-in when we scored the only goal in the 1st minute through Arfield then spent the next 90 on the back foot. Broncos, with a soft spot for the Bears.
I don't have Sky anymore though so will be reliant on the BBC coverage - just debating whether to get a NFL game pass to watch on-line.
Anyone got one of these ? Is the coverage of the games similar to that what's on SKY, or can you choose?

I am a little concerned that we haven't signed a centre half but i think folks need to get a handle on the fact that Dyche seriously rates Tarkowski and trusts him enough to become Keane's replacement. I think a young player with potential- similar to what Gray was when we signed him - would be a good shout, someone who can at least impact from the bench and one we'll look to develop, Kenneth Zohore (Cardiff).
Danny Ings on loan would be lovely in addition.

Some might point to Austin leaving on the eve of our first promotion season but we're playing with fire here. Don't see why we couldn't have waited till the January window. Let's hope we have someone up our sleeve.

I thought Westwood was our tidiest player.
And Heaton made some good saves. Brady and Cork both lost the ball regularly.
Hannover had the better of it in truth.
Still Chelsea a missing a couple of key players and although it might be a foregone conclusion, it's still a good time to play them.
