Re: REPORT: The home defeats keep coming

It's hard to reconcile the current season with the previous one. We could well end up going from having one of our best ever seasons to having the worst in our history.

Re: May aswell stick an R there now

Relegation is inevitable. The evidence is in front of us each week. Nothing has changed and nor will it. We’re just miles off being good enough for the Prem. What amazes me most is this arrogant idea some have that we’ll come straight back. This squad has no chance whatsoever of coming straight bac...

I don’t think Tella would have been tearing up the Premier League, but it’s hard to argue that he wouldn’t have helped with the continuity, understanding and spirit in the group. I couldn't tell how close he was from the away end at the time but JBG really should have done better with his first half chance upon watching it back.

On the plus side we actually looked more like a top flight team today. Sadly we failed to cut out the silly and costly mistakes Trafford 4 - Chris Pearce-esque. One for the future but needs benching for a while Vitinho 6 - decent performance. Far better than recent weeks. O’Shea 3 - criminal mistake...

Those looking for a pub crawl, I suggest getting the tube to Angel and you’ll have a 35 - 40 minute walk to the the Emirates. Lots of pubs on the way up. I’m not resigned to relegation, but accept it looks more likely than not. That said, if we can get a bit more luck with injuries to key players and still be in touch come January, who knows. It has been an incredibly chastening start to the season after the highs in the Championship but despite it ...

With Tresor, there were constant rumours that he was unsure about moving to Burnley and even on deadline day when we signed him, at one point it looked as though he’d changed his mind again. What it shows is just how good Cork and Westwood were for us as a two.
