Stuart Broad is actually a good pundit. He has done his homework on Burnley and, despite being a Forest fan, is giving a very balanced analysis.

I think it’s stereotypical and terrible. I’m fed up with all Burnley fans being described as knuckle dragging, foul mouthed ignoramuses. I don’t even think it’s particularly funny or original.

No mobile network is going to work well at half time on the Turf especially if people try streaming things. Also a Turf Moor WiFi network would also struggle at such peak periods.

If you have the money and are a die hard Wednesday fan then it could save you a fortune in the long run. Especially if they don’t get into the premier league for a few years.

It took me about 6 weeks to get back to some level of normal activity and to return to work. I think I was over cautious at first (probably thought I would dislocate the new hip) and, as a result, I do get some muscle pain around the new joint. I had mine done at age 52 and that’s 12 years ago. Doct...

The sign on the old photo says “drive slowly through culvert”. This suggests that back then it was the road/tramway tunnel that was the culvert.

People are just plain selfish. They run on the pitch because they want to and that is all that concerns them. Their whole lives are probably based on looking after number one and having no thought for anyone else. Sad.

The sound for the music and announcements was much better today with the temporary additional speakers around the pitch. Not a long term solution but shows that something needs doing permanently.

The Reading fans next to the Burnley fans made a right racket. Their annoying drummer kept their chants going brilliantly (which wound me up no end). The drummer was also very effective at stopping our chants by playing his drum at a different rhythm to us each time we started chanting.

So now it begins, the great big hand out to friends, acquaintances, anybody you fancy. No checks will be made on entry to Ewood so basically anybody with mates can get a ticket (except for limited numbers). Ps I am not bitter, I have loads of points but don’t want to be involved in any tribal aggro....
