They later got accepted into the SDL and only played at home (if my memory is correct), later they were allowed to play away games :D

Cycled past it the other week. It was bleak and the sun was shining. I wouldn’t fancy being there in mid winter with the rain wind and snow!

I am a massive Beatles fan and one of my favourite songs of theirs is For No One from the Revolver album. A haunting McArtney melody with a french horn solo played by Alan Civil. A beautiful song. I love that song! “ a love that should have lasted years” Also for whom the bell tolls by the bee gees

Aldershot. Won 2-0 (Conroy penalty on 46 mins and a John Francis goal on 49) but the points got wiped out in March when Aldershot went bust. Also played 2 games against Wigan in the Rumbelows Cup before the Doncaster game. Chris Pearce played in all 4 games before Andrew Marriott was brought in for...

Just watched it back and the pass didn’t go back to the kicker so the free kick was awarded for the taking of the corner. So in that case it appears that they did get it wrong. Unless it’s an offence for a player to be stood off the pitch and then receive the ball, which seems unlikely. That’s how ...
