Re: Ashley Barnes - the positives ?
Differcult to criticise one of our own, but having him on the pitch stifles our play. At the same Point as Vokesey right now, time to move on.

Re: Simple question for all those who want Sean Dyche to go
No we weren't. Can you get your facts straight please? We got 39 points. In recent seasons 36 points has been good enough to keep teams up in the Prem and it will this season. The way that the current division shapes up means that the big six, plus a few others get enough points to stop the bottom ...

In general, it does feel like things are sliding rapidly away in the wrong direction - we can't buy a win at home, and I think that's 4 wins in 24 games overall now - a worrying trend. It doesn't really feel like we've shaken our post lockdown malaise - and in particular here are a few things that ...

Re: Everton (A) Match Thread
Genuine question how many players tonight for us would get in any other premier league team? I’m gonna go for 4? 5 max We have an ageing squad, and the close season no longer re charges batteries...they were done after 60 mins. And more importantly we have a manager (taking away all the sentiment),...

Agree that he is just brilliant and will only get better, but question is should he be the sacrificial cow that allows us to buy 2 or 3 decent players that give us more chance of staying up here. Because Dwight on his own can't do that.

Re: What Sean Dyche has delivered in his nearly 9 year tenure
Why would he start a player knowing that he will be forced to take him off after 60 minutes? It doesn’t make sense, especially not for a manager who will happily go through a game without making a change. Dyche was already starting one striker who hasn’t had a full pre-season, it’s completely logic...

Re: What Sean Dyche has delivered in his nearly 9 year tenure
The manager said he was, said he was going to get a game for him this week. You either believe what the manager says or you don't. Unlike Wood in the Olympics, Vydra wasn't playing much football in the Euros, he then went on holiday and came back late so I can imagine he is very much behind the oth...

You were taking away from the great work he's done. He's already explained the Vydra situation regarding him being behind the others in terms of fitness. He's already explained why he brought on Barnes. So I'm not sure how you have determined that it has labelled Vydra 4th choice striker. Tony that...

9 years and struggling to affect a game with subs - where are we now then? League One? You are taking things away from what has gone before clearly with that statement. Re: How many points will we have after 6 games ?
Depends on who our manager decides to play
“Barnesy defends very well from the front"
"Vydra behind the curve"
It's just bloody nonsense, play Vydra for 60 mins from the start if he's not quite ready for 90..and get that clear lead
