Re: Have the Vydra doubters
Everybody entitled to their opinion, he was probably a little petulant at not getting a chance. But he has knuckled down, the fitness and the work ethic is now in his play. Just needs to take a few more chances... the lad has no doubt got talent.

A mention for Vydra, looking very much upto speed with the work and fitness ethic...just needs to get that bit of confidence in front of goal and that lad will be a player. Question is, will he stay.

Join the ESL...Christ they dont even want us in the EPL. Do i regret it, I was all for some fresh blood taking it on...however I dont like at all that they came into this pretty much potless. I still dont understand how it was ok for a newcomer to borrow money against the club, but MG and the board ...

SD remains in control of playing staff that much we know, or have been told; but I would be amazed if our recruiting team does not know a lot more about the American talent than they did six months ago. Obviously we do not know the full impact of COVID on plans but I would not be surprised if a ‘to...

I'd put it differently: Sean Dyche needs to want to be at Burnley Football Club. Great post, please excuse my naivety on this....but given what you have said....how on earth is this club going to be able to sign players, by that I mean where is the money coming from. Given that over 70% is going on...

Don't always agree with how both SD and MG have gone about things, but can't knock what they've done. Only thing I'd say is, and this is to both of them...for me they have stood and admired their accomplishments for a tad to long and appear not to have seen what is about occur. No doubting he's a terrific player, but he has dropped off this season. Just can't see him getting the move he wanted, in footballing terms. Ive no doubt there are better and younger CH to be had for less money in Europe.

No team has a devine right to win games, but last week and this week just shows SD's achillies heel. He just doesn't seem able to move away from his initial game plan, no matter how much things change during the game. I'm not at all sure Tarks will get the move he wants, in footballing terms. He's very good in our structure, not at all sure how effective he would be in a top 8 side. As good as he is, he has to take some criticism for that 60 mins as well as the players. Clear to see some weren't at it, and he chose not to change it. But he can't be held accountable for some glaring errors by normally decent players.

Fairly honest assessment Burnley boss Sean Dyche: "We had a lot of control in the first half an hour and did the simple things well. Then we flat-lined for 15 minutes. You cannot do that in the Premier League. "Without being disrespectful to Southampton, we presented them with a chance to win the ga...

Club made £65m loss in year to 31 May 2020 (2.5 months of Covid-19 shutdown);
Shareholders (principally Davids Sullivan & Gold) invested £30m by rights issue.
