Good memories of the day. We used Hackney Wick station instead of Stratford, which was really convenient. Same here. Crate Brewery was the worst ofnthe three bars we ent in pre and post match, and it wasn't bad, iquite liked it. Preferred howling hops brewery. Best ine was Mason East (now closed) a...

I asked the club the same question. The club had planned a display at Towneley I understand but its been postponed because of the virus. Hi John, Not sure how I missed this thread every other time it seems to have been popular?! I've found this lockdown far tougher than previous ones. Probably because of the weather and the lack of light hours. Missing my reffing more than PL games, but that's to be expected, as I have pared that rig...

Bruno rocked Tyson in that fight. Stunned him. Had him in the palm of his hand, one punch from a knock down. Sadly, Frank couldn't believe it, and froze too. Who knows how the rest of the fight would have gone had he landed that "next punch...?

As a grass roots referee, I find it disconcerting that people are backing a lengthy ban for the ref. He was wrong, but didn't do much to merit, for example, a 12 month ban. The respect campaign has fallen by the wayside, and players, coaches (and parents where applicable) need to REALLY respect matc...

I'd like to see us get some more pace into the team. No problem with the way we mix up the play at the moment, but I'd like to see: a) us be able to genuinely counter attack and punish teams b) be able to beat a man out wide more often, get to the bye-line and get crosses in c) win more penalties by...

That's great, and shows that it could bear fruit. The fact that only 11 have made it through shows that it will be a thorough process, in my view, and is worth doing. It's not going to cost the earth, and could easily be another avenue for players to make it into the junior and / or U23 set-up.
