Re: Genk v Burnley - Team News
Oh no. Our season is over before it has even started. Sack the board, sack Kompany and the whole management team. :? Don’t think anyone’s really having a meltdown, just calling out what it was - a poor performance. They did seem press hard so hopefully a good fitness test. On to the next one.

I just think the whole loan/bring him back was never going to work. Hopefully a lesson learned for Alan and the team.
I shan’t boo him but he’ll never be a player I can fully get behind now.

Only a friendly but if we’re being honest we’ve been very easily second best, certainly 2nd half anyway (only half I’ve watched). Not created anything and Genk have got in behind quite a few times.

Re: Banking your season ticket
If an average of 500 return their seats each game (more for some games than others, a lot in half term, evenings etc), that is nearly 10,000 seats at lets say £35 average walk on price so that is £350,000 income for the club, entirely because we have taken the effort to sell our seats back. A bit o...

Agree a share of what we pay is fair, but the admin fee is not, because the club is guaranteed to be quids in when it re-sells the seat for a much higher walk-on price. That’s just greed. Haven’t seem the detail but I am guessing the admin fee is the same for everyone, meaning it is “regressive”, i...

You can't put the club on hold for a few hundred punters who can't commit until the Saturday morning of the game. If Maatsen only wants to come here on loan, I’d be going elsewhere. Only loans I’d agree to are ones with options to buy. Just don’t see the point developing other teams players as a Prem team - you’re just kicking the can down the road. Would honestly rather go with Charlie.

Yeah I’m convinced, based on nothing, that Maatsen comes back late in the window. He won’t get a game there and he’s on a free in a year. We’d be best placed getting one (Manning would’ve been perfect) just so Chelsea can’t bend us over. Manning would’ve been very decent to start the season and the...

I would hope we’re valuing McNally in the £5m range in any prospective deal. Thomas has done very well in multiple loans now and is still very young. When you consider we got about a million for Josh Benson from Barnsley, I think we’d rightly value Thomas at about £1.5m too. Hypothetically £5m plus...
