Re: Stability or Tinkering
The problem is not just playing four regular defenders. It's playing four GOOD regular defenders. None of our defenders has proved to be good enough most of the time - none of them. That's why VK has had to bring in two more on loan to try and improve things. Roberts - not good enough and now gone....

Re: Fed up
That might have been the plan in his first transfer window but unless you missed something that’s not what happened last summer. You buy a number of players for around the £15m (give or take £2m or £3m) then you can’t afford for many of them to not work out…..right now we have at least 4 or 5 of th...

Re: Fed up
This is what makes the summer’s transfer policy seem even more ludicrous. I agree. But my point is I believe there is a long-term business plan, not a long-term football plan. To be blunt, the plan is something like to have asset appreciation of 15% per year until 2030 as opposed to be qualifying f...

Pretty clear what the long term plan is and what we are trying to do. Kompany has name dropped Brighton several times and commented on how ‘this club doesn’t want to be one just hanging on every year’. Basically can we get to Brighton’s level (consistent top half finishes, winning their Europa Leag...

I really dont, youre missing my point entirely. This club doesnt exist without the fans, Pace doesnt buy the club etc etc. The fans are also the ones that are left to pick up the pieces if it all goes tits up. You really think i meant in a business sense? Its a fans clubs in the sense that we are the one constsnt. When Pace goes we are the ones that remain and possibly pick up the pieces. Without the fans we wouldnt be anywhere near where we are, thats why the community aspect is so important. I believe ...

Yes. Its the fans club, we were here long before Pace arrived and will be here long after hes gone. Its part of their duty to communicate with the fans. Boey now linked with PSG so pretty sure he's now out of our reach (if he ever was within our reach in the first place). This has all been done to death - I think we prioritised wants over needs far too much and that's why we have such an imbalanced squad - for me you fill the gaps first then look elsewhere. I'm simply not having it that there wasn't a proper DM or fullback in world football that we could have signed...
