It's a shame Dyche didn't leave his notes lying around when he went. We were excellent at corners when attacking or defending them then but looked dodgy at the back since and don't look like we'd score if we took 100 of them this season. It's all part of the learning curve tho

A promising performance. You can see them getting slightly better as each game goes by. Still some tightening up to do at the back and we need to find that killer ball where it matters a bit more, but that's the best we've played since we came up

Age about 14/15 in the pub that is now Mario's in Bacup - can't remember the name but it was blatently obvious we were way too young. Wasn't long before we'd ventured into Horaces either

The only reason it looks like a Villa kit anymore than any of our previous kits is because of the sponsor. I don’t mind it. And the colours... Like you, I don't mind it. I was in the same position as you many years ago with older ones until I spotted a good lease deal, did all the sums and worked out that with what I'd save in fuel and repairs, it'd work out roughly the same. It was nice having a new car and feeling confident it wouldn't break down like the older on...
