Re: ARTICLE: The Brady link
Why would he go to Sunderland other than for the money, there's a good chance they'll be relegated.

Re: Rule changes
Bertrand one looked nasty on the replay I saw, surprised he wasn't seriously hurt. It might have looked nasty on the replay but it was clear that there was nothing wrong with him. They should ONLY blow up for a head injury or if the bone is sticking out of the leg etc! He chose to stay down playing...

Re: Rule changes
More advantage time given to see whether there is a genuine advantage. If a shot is taken and missed then play would be brought back. I'd probably put a time limit on advantages, say 10 seconds play.

I've yet to see it on tv but the foul on grey was the clearest booking you'll ever see, straight through on goal.

Re: Is Barnes getting a reputation?
His chest control is second to none. He is a very skillful and underrated player. He was in various tight situations at both ends of the pitch today and brought the ball under control from virtually every height / angle that he received it from. Add his tenacity and will to win to the obvious talen...

What's the point of putting it there then? It's hardly like they're gonna trip over it is it??
They're doing it for one reason, to try to grab a few inches!!

Nah, not sure that he gave a shite when he came on and was certainly not good enough to threaten our first eleven!HollandsPies wrote:Why be so rude about a player brought in by Dyche?
A player who hasn't featured because he wasn't needed in the end.
Our current position sort of says that.

I'd have been gutted if he'd scored, anybody but him but I was pleased with the reception he got. He WILL always be a claret even when he plays for someone else. I'm sure his reception didn't galvanise him to player better!! Edit to say, he is the only player that I've felt like that about in my 32 ...

Hi all. We are away in thailand and miss today's game. Just been around the local bars and none are showing football but all have WiFi. Can anyone help with a reliable stream? Thanks and UTC Sportsmania.eu Will cost you about £4 for the day but the stream is usually perfect with a decent speed wifi.

It's deliberate handball but not a yellow. The only mandatory yellow cards for handball are: Commits a foul or handles the ball to interfere with or stop a promising attack Handles the ball in an attempt to score a goal or in an unsuccessful attempt to prevent a goal When he grabbed it it looked li...

It was simulation for me, I thought that he'd blown up for that so he should have booked him. Did he blow up for handball after he'd gone down?what_no_pies wrote:Not sure about simulation but Defoe certainly should have been booked for grabbing the ball as the ref didn't award a free kick.

No he's probably one of those sensible drivers who appreciates you have to slow down significantly when visibility drops to the level it did last night. I'm not saying that he isn't, but most people, myself included at times, do a certain speed in the conditions and think that anyone else going fas...

Not a pen for me, he waited for a slight touch and chucked himself over!
Wasn't it a dive that the ref blew up for? If so he should have booked him!
