Re: Burnley vs Palace Match thread
What I don’t like about this club though, and this messageboard, is the singling out of 18, 19, 20, 21 year old players. We should be better than that as supporters. Players like Odobert will have quiet games at his age. He is a talent. Most understand that apart from the manager. Keeps getting pic...

Re: Burnley vs Palace Match thread
100% red. Probably worst performance of season so far. Brownhill now missing 1 or 2 games so a brainless decision from the captain given Trafford could have made the save. Really does sum up our season in 5 seconds. Losing Brownhill isn’t really an issue to be fair. He’s been poor for a while now.

New route for us today. We’ve just parked up at St Albans and now on train direct to Norwood Junction.

I remember going to Palace for Trevor Francis first game and I think we beat them 2-1. Francis came out in tiny shorts if I remember rightly. Hope history repeats itself and we nick a win.

As much as I’m fed up with it, I am now planning to go to Chelsea with my Dad. My Dad is 75 and I’m 50 and we were talking earlier and saying that we missed the day out together. It’s far more important than the result so I get your comment on Palace. The last game was Millwall last season so finger...

I think we should be planning for the Championship now. If VK were suddenly to change to a tight, defensive tack, not letting much in and trying to nick the odd win, it wouldn't be enough to save us anyway. Play the ones he is planning to use next season, have faith in them but, please, please, loo...

I’d forgot about him to be honest. If we have bought him then maybe he’ll be off on loan next season. He’s another who looks technically good but doesn’t contribute. Doesn’t mean he won’t in the future though.

It will be hard to motivate the players that have been frozen out next season. Muric, Benson, Zaroury, Cullen and Roberts will want off I’d imagine. Do some of the others think they’re too good for the championship? Berge certainly is. It’s going to be an interesting summer.

Positives for me are that I can get outdoors with the family instead of staying at home feeling miserable. It’s quite liberating to not watch this lot on a weekend at the moment. Done. I work for a train company and the state of the trains after the football is horrendous. Often vandalised causing the unit to be out for repair for a while. As for pricing, that’s on the government now due to the new franchise contract.

I really don’t like slagging our players off but having just watched MOTD, Trafford has cost us more points. He will obviously be a good keeper in the future but he really needs to be dropped. I can’t for the life of me believe he’s still starting. Same with Ramsey. Bizarre doesn’t even cut it.

I want to keep VK as he’s proven in the Championship but it’s hard to compare the first Dyche promotion to last season. We literally had to sell Austin to stay afloat. We’re down anyway so we may as well give Trafford every game for experience. May as well throw Massengo in as well and see what he’s got.
