Re: Taking food & drink in
It's illegal to have a drinks can in a football ground. It's not a ground regulation, it's the law. I think it isn't because of throwing potential, it's because of tearing it in half and using like a knife potential. I think glass bottles are barred, for the same reason. Plastic bottles aren't a pr...

Food would be a good place to start. I don't like pies and thats pretty much the only option. I remember the chips at Walsall, they were the best chips in the world. Garnerssoap had a theory it was because they were forced to change the cooking oil regularly with opening days being relatively infreq...

I'd like a few of you to have experienced the 1960's match day experience, when we were one of the top 3 teams in the land. There would be no complaints about current facilities. I would willingly return to those 1960's facilities if it meant we returned to the same level of performance year on yea...

Theoretically mine will do 80 miles on a full charge, but I suspect that’s calculated in a flat area. In reality it’s not that much but I’ve done 40 easily with minimal assistance. It’s a good workout regardless of the motor and they are getting better as the tech improves.

I’ve got a Haibike. All the fun of cycling without the dread of hills. Was out on it today over by coal clough wind farm and the hill out past the Kettledrum is doable. I’d struggle to get up there on my ‘analogue’ bike. The best description is that it’s like having some extra gears for the really b...

I'm not saying Hampsteads scenario couldn't happen, but in my experience it doesn't. If you buy a house outright then it's yours. Probably 95% of iphones are on contracts originally, so they don't own them, it's basically a lease. Phone contracts aren't leasing, they are more of a hire purchase, eventually you own the item, so you aren't comparing like with like here. I own an iPho...

It doesn't make sense if the steel is more expensive though, certainly not from a business point of view and we all castigate the government a lot for over spending over the years and I apply that to both parties. I'm not sure what Nolans problem is unless he feels the ref has allowed far too much injury time to reflect the stoppages. In a game if an injury happened in the 46th minute and took 15 minutes to resolve, then he could expect the ref to add on 15 minutes plus an allowance of any other stoppages, so...
