I, too, wondered this tonight. In fact I’d pretty much forgotten they had him. Has he been injured? Thought him, Son and Kane could have been quite some front 3.

Don’t think Everton fans had much positive to say about Keane when he had a slump in form too ? If I remember rightly Kenny had a bit of a run of games under Allardyce. But profile-wise someone whose not quite good enough to dislodge players of £35m cost (Iwobi) should hardly bring written off. I ag...

On Twitter running with the headline that he thinks footballers should be vaccinated.
Lots of angry responses from people who clearly haven’t gathered the context which he reiterated many times in the full interview. Shame, as he made some good points.

Part of the problem here is that the striking department probably hasn’t been a priority for us over the past few windows. We have good competition for places and 4 lads (or 3 1/2 ;) who have all proved capable at PL level. Compare that with some of our rivals. Perhaps SD feels It’s the supply chain...

I remember a Birmingham winger having a blinder in the midweek milk cup tie in 1983. Ian Handysides. They came back from 2-0 to pull level then we won 3-2. The season we reached the semi finals.

Lundstrum arguably quicker than Westwood / Cork - but there’s certainly no evidence of him being ‘stronger’ or indeed an improvement on either of those two. It’s a tricky one. Newcastle play defensively with organisation and strength but they got ripped apart.
I think the Wolves game was a good template. Leeds tend to start like a house on fire and it will be a case of keeping them out and growing into the game. I’m going for a 1-0 win.
