Fortuitous is the best word I can use on the result, bar the last 20 minutes. For large parts we were second best and Coventry can count themselves unlucky not to get anything. Silly yellow but I wouldn't want to change the way JC plays. IMO far and away our best player this season and he will be sadly missed for the WBA game especially. I'd be inclined to move Brownhill into that role in his absence and play the influential JBG wide left or right.

If it had been us in the PL, we wouldn't have been awarded a goal, of that I am pretty certain. Another example of VAR stretching the rules to favour the 'big clubs' imo. Rashford was clearly off side, and interfering with play because the defender did what was expected of him and moved forward.

Jack Cork is certainly my "Player of the Season" thus far. I think the added responsibility of captain has added another dimension to his game to add into the mix.

Yes the Lowry Car Park at Salford Quays. The only drawback I find is queuing up at the Ticket machines afterward, you can have quite a wait unless you book in advance.

Thanks for the 'heads up', I'll check the film out. Big fan of Buffalo Springfield and early Neil Young solo work. After the Gold Rush is one of my most played albums from my youth and it still sounds remarkably fresh today.

David Johnson lived in my home town and until recently he was a regular around the shops and in the local Weatherspoon's Thomas Gerrard, know locally as Tom and Jerry. His presence will be sadly missed. A very under rated footballer who should have won many more England caps. RIP.

For a big bloke he should be more physical and command his box a lot better. He allows himself to get blocked in and bullied especially from set plays on a regular basis. It's a position that worries me and has done all season to be perfectly honest.

There's no way I'll be parking on Eyre Street again after the last fiasco. Took an hour and a half to get off. May be better as it's a Sunday but my advice would be to park at the lower levels if you prefer parking there.

I also think Lawrenson's been an excellent pundit and co commentator. Always complementary to us and I think he'll be a sad loss. Don't think he's whinging, just highlighting the cold manner in which the BBC disposes of loyal employees.

I find it staggering, I really do. I accept somethings not right but Tuchel is probably the best coach in Europe after Pep and I'm sure he would have turned it around. I think one of the major problems at so called big clubs is getting rid of players on long bloated contracts.
