Yes North East England is nice and a pleasant drive, relatively uncongested, try Bamburgh with its castle, Seahouses and Alnmouth.

Yes penalty was a poor/wrong decision by an inadequate referee and linesman. Fortunately did not prove costly but shambolic nevertheless.

Re: Rehan Ahmed - England Test record breaker
Rashid’s test record is poor, expensive and not a wicket taker. Was handled poorly in his early career by both Yorkshire and England, particularly Gale the Yorks captain. As a result opted for white ball only in which he has excelled. A pity, could have been a test cricketer too IMO.

The Cotton Famine Road above Rochdale May be worth investigating. The unemployed created this by installing setts high on the moors during the American Civil War. In this way Lancashire textile workers took a stand against slavery.

Sounds like Dyche and the players grew apart and the relationship became stale before his abrupt departure. Mee is a genuine guy, contract talks stalled and a parting of the ways was inevitable. However both Dyche and Mee gave excellent service to the club and deserve our thanks.

Excellent report, yes queuing at the 2 away supporter turnstiles was abysmal. I got in the ground at 3.06pm, far too many stairs for a 77 year old, Metro train ran out at Heworth but nevertheless a brilliant day. I can even see myself on the photo!
