Re: Amdouni
He's clearly a decent player, it's the application side that really needs work. He has a very prevalent trait of losing the ball and remonstrating with himself instead of chasing to try and win it back - see the Spurs winner last week and 3 or 4 occasions last night. We need to be battling for our l...

5 at the back was the right thing to do. The two late subs were not. We used to see games like that out under Dyche partly because we didn't make subs, despite many people clamouring for them. The players on the pitch are deep into the game, they know what they're doing and anyone coming on isn't go...

Rancid. His attitude while they were checking the equaliser summed him up. He let their centre halves foul Foster all night long and worst of all was not booking their player for one of the worst dives there's ever been. It's been near-death for some time but var has finally killed the Premier league for me tonight. Whether we deserved to win or not is moot; referees should not be deciding the outcome of football matches but it's every game now. Wonder how this may interfere with Luton's accommodation plans too? No I think the point is very much the same: it was not that they were bad players just never given the time they needed to come good, Alan Lee was improving and I remember thinking ‘too soon’ when we binned him. Whittingham was only a two month loan if memory serves. The point was about our record ...

Better than many we've had this season but still below the required standard. Booked Cullen for a perfect ball-winning tackle but ignored clatterings by Spurs players that got nowhere near the ball, the one on Zaroury, right in front of him, a prime example. Tresor booking was right but he didn't bo...

Decent performance on the whole tonight, it's never easy when you change half a team, not least for the rusty players coming in; much harder to make their mark. Well my point is that there’s zero evidence base he would’ve made a difference. To be honest I’m not even sure if he were banging them in in the Bundesliga it’d provide an evidence base (Weghorst has a good record in the Bundesliga), but the fact he’s not being picked in that league (a worse league...

Correct but the Bundesliga isn’t higher quality than tge Prem, which is my point. We have no evidence base to suggest he’d be making a big difference for us this season.
