Re: Summer transfer window 2023 - rumours, links and discussion.

No there not the same player because Tella made the clever runs, received the ball and.scored the goals. Your arguement is that Twine made the runs but we don't have any midfielders, wingers or strikers that can spot that pass despite finishing top scorers and scoring lots of goals from clever runs...

Cov fans are amongst the most deluded online bunch I have seen. Surprised they didn't suggest Twine, McNally, Peacock-Farrell and Benson + £8 mill for him. Would that be a bad deal for us? Also strange that Chelsea sold Ruben Loftus-Cheek for £15m to Milan and apparently only want £15m for Callum Hudson-Odoi. Not sure where they get £20-25m for Maatsen. Zero logic when compared to the above two players. Chelsea are over-valuing all their players but they need to claw back some money ...

I'm glad he's back. *I thought he was a good player first time round, trying to play football in a hoof ball team.* I'm not interested in any player fallouts, no team has a group of 20 - 30 players where they all like each other. Burnley 11 based on career success

I don't know where this came from, probably the lack of live football, but I started thinking about some of the players we've had over the years who either had great success before or after they were with us. It ended with me trying to come up with a Burnley 11 based solely on players career success...

McNally is worth 7 million to everyone other than Coventry They're an odd bunch. They seem to vastly over-inflate the value of all their players. Absolutely, just because clubs pay such excessive fees doesn't mean the player is actually worth that much. I say his real value is closer to £10 million, but with Liverpool wanting to replace him with Lavia for £50 million, then Jones is way out of our budget thankfully. I'm pretty sure that VK has identified that we need to be much physically stronger in defence and midfield. I'd be surprised if he was available for a low as 15m, more like that plus add ons. I agree with this, especially with Joao Pedro moving from Watford to Brighton for £30m.
