I reckon the road surfaces in Burnley Wood, and in particular Branch Road are only marginally better than some of the roads in Normandy circa June 1944.

The other week a white Audi nearly caused an accident by incorrect lane procedure. Following a little road rage he got out of his car and still had the cheek to think he was in the right. Left hand lane at the entrance for a679/Sainsbury's and town mouse exit. R hand lane for a679/kwik fit and m65(e). R hand lane moves into left for a679/kwik fit immediately after sainsburys exit. How do these things get changed, does it have to wait until there's an accident? It's a really busy roundabout and I travel that way quite a lot. It'd be preferable if I didn't have to chance it on a daily basis.

If people are using the left hand lane to approach the roundabout to turn right towards kwikfit, there will be plenty of accidents here. I knew A679 was written on the lane marking AFTER the Sainsbury's turning, thereby suggesting it's correct to be in the left hand lane if you're heading to Kwik Fit.
