Being a 60+ year old I've been through the mill with the Clarets. I don't think I've ever recovered after we sold Willie Morgan to Utd. Squad size is starting to bite us. The loss of Wood is a worry and hopefully Brownhill can get fit soon as he gives us a lot of energy in the middle of the park. Fans matter more to the bigger clubs than the little clubs, as they influence referees. If someone had told me that we were going to win at Anfield via a late penalty I would have laughed at them. Do you think we'd have been awarded the penalty if fans had been present? I doubt it very much.

From my perspective it may not be about the cost of the ST but how the small shareholders in the club get treated going forward. If I'm not happy or we are ignored completely then it becomes a matter of principle and they'll lose two, long term season ticket holders for good.
