bit of a speech might have been nice, especially as we have a european slot now as well as top ten finish, and it being the end of the successful season.
just ambling about the pitch in a disorganised cluster was a bit of a let down.

not sure i can agree warksclaret, whilst injuries do occur at every club, there is a question of adequate replacements, in so much as players who can slot in immediately and continue the form. I don't think teams who's squads cost half a billion pounds are quite so bothered by missing one or two key...

There must be loads of facts people can add to a lengthy list of things that could have derailed our season. Tom Heaton's injury seemed initially disastrous in itself to me, but we had the inclusion of Nick Pope who has been fantastic . Losing other key players through injuries with our squad was ju...

It happened a few times in the early 70s with the ref blowing his whistle when the ball was in mid flight and the ball ending up in the net. Even today with the "minimum time added on" the referee is the ultimate timekeeper. He can blow for full time at any point after the minimum time added on. It...

But if a Burnley fan Boos the team in the present era then he should be hauled onto the centre circle and vapourised by a giant laser beam.

well, european teams tend to mess about a lot, they lack concentration. They won't know what's happening once we're on the pitch.
Mind you, if we play as we did today, then it'll be a quick bottle of overpriced lager somewhere, and back to reality after an early exit.
