He took the ball off the toe of a southampton player in the 6 yard box with his first touch.
It's a very clever free kick too.
Kind of a shame he's just wasted 8 months of a dwindling career, but glad he's seen sense.

Our last sending off ?
When was the last time we had a man sent off. Was it Mike Duff at West Ham 2 seasons ago, or have we had one since then...?

Re: Sunderland highlights
Darikwa was fortunate to get away with not giving a penalty away there. Anywhere else on the pitch and it would have probably been a foul.
Bad misses from Vokes and Barnes, pleased to be getting another home game though, well done boys.

Re: Tom Cleverly
Feels like a good fit for me. Not long since in the England set-up, lost his way a bit and, crucially, Dyche worked with him at Watford. A player still young enough to get a lot better. Could be more of a long term prospect, especially if Defour leaves at the end of the season which sadly looks on th...

Re: Last day fixtures (21 May)
If we have as bad a second half to our season as Norwich had (p 18 w3 d2 l13).. we'd probably drop. Not quite sure why Norwich capitulated so badly but an inexperienced manager wouldn't have helped. I think the difference of having Sean and his staff (who have been there before) will ensure we finis...

Re: Henri Lansbury
Not sure Lansbury could be considered a replacement for Marney. Couldn't be more different playing styles.
If he wants to play in the Prem he should sign for us, otherwise I could see him at villa.

Re: Andre Gray
Thought Gray had an excellent second half, Ive never been sure he'd totally crack it at this level in the way that more of a footballer like Danny Ings had the potential to do, but he did well on occasions with his back to goal today, bringing in the full back on the overlap with some neat and tidy ...

Re: ARTICLE: Hughes accuses Barnes
Stoke's gamesmanship and general conduct in that match was the worst I've seen for a long time - certainly this season. It comes from the culture of the team set up by Hughes and his staff. If anything we were a bit naive to it, especially kicking the ball out of play deliberately for their mainly p...
