Re: Time for Dyche to leave
managers earn their money during tough times. We haven’t had many of them under Sean and now is the time for him to earn his money but he has to be given chance to do that. For me even if we go down he’d get a chance to bring us back up

Thought Lennon is being hard done by. He’s clearly being told to cover his full back defensively. If he does that he’s getting hammered if he didn’t 100% he’d get hammered, the man can’t win.

Re: The most worrying thing
The new technical director can sign all the players he wants, the manager has to play them. Vydra could very well be filed under Vossen or wells category....not over 6ft, no use to Dyche which I find absolutely bonkers considering his goal record

Re: Madeleine McCann investigation receives more funding
DSR there is very little evidence that Madeline was alive on the day of the supposed abduction. The accounts are all over the place. And if it happened earlier all your objections disappear. I would certainly be asking questions in the normal way that police do. What amazes me is how the british po...

Re: Madeleine McCann investigation receives more funding
Awful what happened to this little girl no doubt about it but after over 10 years and over £11million has been spent, I would sincerely hope that every possible avenue has been explored into what happened to this child. Easy for me to say as it’s not my child, but there has to be a time where people...

Re: Warburton the preferred choice as Technical Director
Another story in the times today saying we are struggling to appoint a technical director due to a number of candidates not wanting to spend time in the town. Personally find that hard to believe as if you apply for a job at Burnley, you’d expect to spend time.... in Burnley.

Feel sorry for Jeff. He’s being asked to play in a position he’s not comfortable but at least he asks for the ball and is willing to take it!! Jack cork is **** poor... can’t tackle, can’t pass, can’t shoot, can’t head... your useless!!!

Pleased for Sam well deserved. I do feel a bit for Chris wood though, fair enough he has looked off it so far but get the balls in the box with quality to him and he will score goals. Can’t think of many who want the ball ballooned into them at throat or head height 30 yards from goal with no support.

Re: What's Happened To Jack Cork?
Cork and Westwood are just far to lightweight, getting bullied every single week. Neither of them are ball winning midfielders and neither of them can keep the ball or even string a pass together at the moment so it’s no wonder we are being out played every week.

Defour or Hendrick for cork personally.... have to have someone else in midfield who will look to get their foot on the ball and play forward or at least keep it especially at home to Huddersfield.

It takes courage to try things that don’t come off and try them again, keep wanting the ball and keep wanting to pass forward. Very very impressive debut young fella!!

You clearly don’t understand the definition of hindsight To criticise Dyche for the signing of Walters using a rationale that he hardly played because he was injured is hindsight. If you would have criticised the signing when it happened on the basis he would as going to get injured that would have...

Not really the point though is it ? He played him tonight but even if he is surplus to requirements he did not think that 12 months ago when he signed him. It’s only the hindsight gang who think he is a bad signing now If you sign someone for £3million and that person doesn’t play hardly, that make...

That makes no sense. He obviously thought Walters was good enough when he signed him. He then got a serious injury and was out all season. Whether he is good enough now after being out for a year I am not sure....and Dyche is not sure either I guess. Maybe Dyche should have known he would get his f...

Seriously you need to give it a rest. We know your feelings on Walters and Bardsley. The facts are though that both players have significantly more premier league experience than all the 5 “capable” squad fillers you mention put together. So whilst you are entitled to your opinion about both player...

But at the time we were linked /signed them did they? Every time Burnley play I want them to win whether that’s winning 1-0 in a scrappy game or playing great stuff and blowing a team away. I just don’t think this signing if it happens will create much of a buzz of the type when we signed Defour for example, but I could of course be wrong and he could ...

The most odd part is the manager who wants the opposite is the one who has brought us success we could have only dreamed of 10 years ago. The managers job is to win football matches which is easier to do with reliable players and a solid formation E.G big Sam and obviously the gaffer has done a gre...

Not sure how you can reach that conclusion when one is broadly speaking, a centre forward - albeit one who can drop deep - and one is a midfielder.
