I was led to believe that investing in all these pacey wingers/forwards was to enable us to break quickly assuming we would be under pressure a lot more than the previous season, yet when we do get possession we slow it down as keeping possession seems more important than getting the opposition def...

Not afraid to put his foot in but also excellent on the ball
Surely he's doing very similar to what Cullen did last season. Will be very interesting to see how he goes if/when they get promoted.

With the 3 relegated clubs winning again today (Leicester will surely do so later) it just shows the gulf between Championship and PL.

England have been disgraceful once again but it's shocking to me a third umpire can look at those pictures and make a definitive judgement on whether it was caught
The on field umpire didn't give out and, as you say, the third umpire couldn't be 100% sure that it was caught so how can he give it?

It's not just corners is it, all our set pieces are poor. Watching the Villa/Hammers game yesterday I thought that Villa had some good set pieces that had obviously been worked on, not all of them were successful but at least they were trying something different.

Furthermore, I don't believe the £31.5m. It suits Chelsea and IM's agent to be able to quote it at a latter date, if necessary.
Tavares, left full back from Arsenal, has moved to Forest for 12mil. 13.5mil sounds more feasible for Maatsen.
