How has this thread gone down this track?

Consent, and alcohol are all irrelevant in this case. The charges leveled against Sigurdsson involved sexual activity with a minor.

Still it gave all the usual culprits the opportunity to display their vast range of knowledge on every subject under the sun.

Doubtful when five others are awaiting punishment. I did not realise there were 5 others still involved. Will the new findings by the Cricket Discipline Commission form some sort of precedent for future hearings? By finding Vaughan not guilty it implies they believe his version and not that of Rafiq.

All friendlies this weekend seemed to have been cancelled already. Padiham's trip to Colwyn bay next weekend is still going ahead as they say the weather down there has been alright. Lowerhouse have announced the signing of S Parry and G Sabir for the forthcoming season.

Parry, last seasons pro, is returning as an amateur and other commitments are expected to limit his appearances . I can see this ruffling a few feathers around the league and on this board.

There are things coming out that he was known to police as an enforcer for the criminal gangs of Merseyside. He had a reputation as a man who would use firearms. Are these stories correct who knows. The evidence against him seems far from conclusive. Lets hope they have the right man.

Seems the "Liniker defence" did not work for Eamonn Holmes. What did he do wrong? Maybe a cheaper legal team and accountant, maybe not woke enough, maybe he failed to house a couple of wealthy university students.Who knows.

Yes but if there are 2,000 tickets available they give them (1 each )to the 2,000 fans with the highest points . Ticket office said a list of the names attending was requested by Blackburn who will be getting the police to check on the turnstile. With the way they've acted I could see them paying extra for it if 4/500 fans didn't get in that's even less of us in the away end Would that really be a police matt...
