The best thing about our upturn in form aside from the obvious is that it bins the idea than Tony Loughlan was responsible for all our good tactics. GB didn’t have the clarity of mind to pull off the world class shots when it mattered but then they should still be proud of silver.

I’m led to believe there are more injuries in curling than ski jumping or luge which is a bit counter intuitive but it looks physically tough doing all that sweeping.

Lowton has done well but is ageing and doesn’t have a great goal or assist record. Roberts looks to offer more there and should tighten up at the back in time, Lowton is technically better but we need goals, simples.

I may be wrong but I can’t remember much VAR controversy with Attwell compared to Pawson and Mason (all games not just ours). Similarly Dean as ref I can’t remember many problems.
