Yep. The whole crowd could see it but not our overpaid manager and his million staff.
There's a reason we are all sat in the stand and he is paid so much to be in the dugout.
Frustrating as it was, he will have had his readons and I'll back his judgement.

He deserves a mention for the goal-saving challenge near the end. For a player who has been criticised for his defensive work that was a phenomenal bit of work.

I also think Odobert is a good player, potentially our best. He is far more effective on the left wing where he can use his pace and skill. For me , he was out of position last night, played well but nothing more than other players could do. I think we wasted an opportunity last night. I have to ag...

Agree with the comments about Taylor. Really frustrating not to have a proper winger having all that ball out there.
Foster was wasted on the wing too, especially with Fofana having a mare.

If he’d have played all season we’d have been nowhere near the bottom three. Huge error from Kompany, I’d rather keep Muric if push comes to shove.
Pushing for Europa at least, surely.

Ex-pros being on VAR would be stupid idea. Any former pro who has had any links to the any of the club or playing for their rivals would just cause more problems. VAR is supposed to assist officials in not making poor decisions, instead they're just backing their poor decisions up. Instead of chang...

Money money money
Don’t forget how much betting takes place world wide on PL games One decision can win or lose millions and the big bookies ( Vegas ) will want to influence any result they can.
Why would bookies want the most likely (and therefore most backed) outcome?

I've said this before, it's a tough choice.
I want to see Burnley playing at highest possible level. Unfortunately the highest level in England is the shitshow that visited the PL.

Is it possible that a referee like Darren England reads Up The Clarets Messageboard and notes that he is in 21st. position according to marks given by Burnley fans. If so, could that affect his performance in a Burnley game or is he just totally incompetent whatever the game ? I think it's entirely...

Let’s hope he survives Newcastle away… and doesn’t get potted before playing us. Last thing we need is “new manager bounce”
Given some of Everton's appointments that might not be a concern.

No typo, just reality. We as a country are living way beyond our means and need to seriously lower our expectations.
OK. Not quite how I had interpreted 'living standards'.

Genuinely curious, are there baby changing facilities on the turf? You'd imagine this might have been addressed alongside the corner stands being built if need be, but I can't recall ever seeing any such facility. Certainly not inside the run of the mill punter areas of the stands The bookies count...

Taxes need to rise, living standards need to fall and reality needs to set in.
Please tell me that's a typo and you mean the cost of living needs to fall.

That’s the point. He was getting picked for England whilst not playing at City so there’s no reason that Trafford can’t get picked when not playing at Burnley. Odd thing to be angry about but more exposure will mean it happens to less people in future.
How do people have passports that are over 10 years old anyway when they expire after 10 years?

Picture the scene:
Pickford ruptures his spleen screaming at Maguire in the final group game. Ramsdale steps in but is sent off for time-wasting in the 95th minute of the semi-final. The final is 0-0 AET, Trafford saves three penalties and Bumba applies for Scottish citizenship.

What must Bobby Moore be thinking.
