The bubble hasn't burst but TV income has definitely peaked. The only option is to give more and more games away to try and keep the same money coming in. The 'unofficial' streaming services were inevitably going to hit the value of these deals eventually.

There’s a pub in our town in South Yorkshire where you can still get a pint for £1.60. A few yards away there’s a bar where it’s £6 for a lager. All depends on your clientele I guess. I'm not sure it's a favour to Liverpool, it's just that they're pursuing it further. Good luck to them, it won't change anything about the result but if it further damages the reputation of VAR then i'm all for it.

I don't even know if it's any good as I haven't watched for years, same as Soccer AM. 'Normal' telly itself is on its way out. I don't think we ever sit down to watch something at a certain time now, just stream stuff when you want it.

I think the constant comparisons are caused by the way the media present the game.
