Re: Tinned Food Count v Swansea (guesses here)

I’m guessing that this is the first time ever that the results for the tinned food count will be announced from a layby on the Keighley bypass, en route to Burnley…

The Ricoh (that will always be what I’ll call it) is an excellent ground for atmosphere when over 80% full. Anything less and the noise just doesn’t carry. Highfield Road was a cracking ground.

“I could have almost repeated the Cardiff report for this game – a nondescript first half, a better start after the break with us going in front and then the ending that really shouldn’t have happened.”

We must end this pattern.

Great read, thank you!

Re: RATE THE REF - David Webb v Stoke City

If you deem a referee to be consistently wrong, then please let that be reflected in your mark. Their ability to apply the laws of the game consistently is either excellent… resulting in a score towards 25… or very poor… Resulting in a very poor score.

I believe it was the home fans who invaded the pitch and the police fired tear gas in to the home stands not just the pitch causing the panic and rush for the exits. Apparently a lot of the deaths were from suffocation due to the tear gas and not just the crush

You are quite right! Cheers

I know it's not really what you're looking for, but if there was a way I could donate on match day in terms of money I'd do it as walking past the bins. It's only when I see the bins that I'm reminded of the collection. I know you can donate online but if there was a way of dropping off a few quid ...

Not getting Kouyate was a big loss I feel.

Kouyate - dominant centre half
Twine - the number 10 we lack
Obafemi - fast forward who loves to run at players

Just consider the difference these could make

Terribly sad. My reading of this suggests that away fans got on the pitch and as a consequence, police followed, flooding the playing area with tear gas. This more than likely caused thousands to immediately dash in panic for the exits, resulting in crushing around the stadium. Desperately sad. A fu...
