Re: Will Hendrick regret his move to the Geordies
He must be gutted inside as at one stage a move to AC Milan was on the cards for him.
He was the ultimate “confidence” player and if things were going wrong he tended to “hide” in matches but if he was on his game he was influential for us.

Re: O/T I walked through the town centre yesterday...
I do think Burnley is a more inviting town to shop/visit especially with the new paving, benches and planters. An idea for town centres is for Govts to allow Councils to set a certain area aside as a type of “Freeport” for independent retailers (Certain criteria as to define an Independent retailer ...

A joy to watch, he seemed to pass the ball with ease and always to the right player. He turned us into a very good team and I remember the Watford home game when he , Cork and Hendrick played them off the pitch. Re: “A blatant power grab” – Fans criticise own clubs on UCL plans
As a club, Burnley are in a real dilemma, we let the big six go and our revenues are likely to diminish, we come to a compromise that will allow them to play more European midweek games the domestic game will suffer, we let them explore making individual TV rights they get richer and the gap increas...

From reading between the lines it is the closed shop nature of the European Super League that is the real gripe. Yesterday the Champions League was extended which again will harm the domestic game but there was no condemnation of it. This Super League idea is too put pressure on UEFA to alter the ch...

It’s time to remind people that the Premier League have ridden over supporters interests, switching matches at the drop of a hat, 8pm Monday kick-offs with no trains back afterwards for supporters, they suggested the 39th game and the domestic cups have been diminished to enhance te premier league.

Agree with much of that. As I posted earlier 4 Manchester and London derbies guaranteed each year dilutes the product being offered making it less appealing to fans and broadcasters alike. Would not be surprised to see Everton added to the list of 6. The appeal of Burnley being in the PL stems much...

Obscene amounts of money offered in sport distort and dilute the product being offered elsewhere. Owners and trainers can now earn more money if their horse runs and finishes 10th in a race in Dubai than they can by running and winning a prestigious race in Britain. The outcome being that races lik...

I just don’t see Dyche going to CP, if as CT is saying him looking to extend his contract is excellent news.
