Re: We missed

I’m not sure Dyche talks about lack of finance at every opportunity. When we come up against the big clubs he has a point though. In terms of the cost and quality of a Manchester City team for example we should expect to lose 5-0. He’s just being realistic and trying to suppress expectations which ...

Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS Jan 2020(MUST CONTAIN LINK)

I’ve heard about this £40m clause for Tarky but don’t understand the purpose of it only being for NW clubs :? :?: :? :?: My interpretation would be that he wants to stay in the North West, as he stated when he moved from Brentford to us. So £40m release clause for North West clubs would allow him t...

Have you ever thought that it might be Dyche who is giving him a list of targets which includes players he has expressed an interest about previously ? Is that so unusual ? Do you seriously think all he does is look in a filing cabinet at someone else’s work and go after these players again ? As th...

Or speculating....

I'm sure Rigg is doing fantastic work in the background, but it doesn't appear he has improved our on-field recruitment, unless his contribution has actually stopped us spending and not improving our starting XI, which could be a factor.

Re: ARTICLE: We are more frustrated than disappointed

I would guess that the majority of teams outside the top 6 get beat when they concede first. It's not just a burnley thing. Chelsea, City and Liverpool have top international players, we don't. That's why the bookies offer very short prices on them when we play them and we are passed off the pitch....

We need JBG with his occasional piece of quality, even if he is taken off after an hour to protect him. Whatever the team, can see us s...

Re: ARTICLE: We are more frustrated than disappointed

From the manager's perspective it had worked for 80 mins. So why not another 10 mins. He was happy with 0-0 This is the big issue with our current game plan, especially away from home. We rely on the opposition not being able to find a quality moment, either through our good defensive work or their...

Dont disagree. The only positive spin I can put is that Dyche was clearly happy with a nil nil with both. Last week we got lucky late on, this week we didn't late on. Had both been a draw we would've taken 2 points. As it happens we took 3. So alls not bad... Probably the best summary to down play ...

Newcastle probably deserved a draw at TM. Not only did we not create anything, but they missed a sitter with Gayle'...

not justified usurping the well-performing first choice duo of Westwood and Cork. Cork has not played well all season. Mcneil even going backwards with every pass today. All too often he is the only creative influence and has zero options or support. The style of football is draining the life out of our supporters. Kicking was let down by playing in carpet slippers in the first half. However, he is one of few keepers who are able to launch it long with either foot. He therefore rarely gets caught out dallying on the ball when it is on his wrong foot. I think his kicking is definitely something he has worked o...

Everton are a bang average side. Why do we go there terrified of them and play like some lower league team in a cup game hoping to pick up a few scraps? This is spot on. I appreciate what Dyche says when he suggests we'll be carved open if we go out all guns blazing, but at least try stringing some...

£26mil in Gibson and Vydra, neither in the squad and neither playing any part in our season - inexcusable for a club our size and finances - as Dyche likes to tell us about.

It's an interesting concept the whole "style of play" debate... Dyche has maintained he likes to mix it up in favour of getting results, however given how long he has been at the club, surely he has had time to mould the team into the style that he really wants to play in? I appreciate the restricti...

What I've found interesting to date, and I know we shouldn't read into these games too much, but Tarks has partnered Gibson in both friendlies so far. To me that has the potential to be our strongest centre back partnership and I just wonder if Dyche is giving that some game time to get prior to the...

The danger is we end up with a team full of wingers who turn up sporadically. I hope I'm wrong but I think Brady is looking like he could fit that category. Sam does hold the ball up well when it's a targeted ball to his chest rather than an aimless punt which we seem to have resorted to recently.
