I thought Foden looked a bit weak at times, especially as the game went on. I would have hooked him a lot earlier.

Re: Aguero to leave City at the end of the season.
A few years back I travelled on holiday with Etihad airways. The ‘in-flight’ entertainment was always punctuated with Aguero scoring for city.
You would think they would use the goal that won them the Premier league, but no, he was scoring against us. Repeated showing it over and over again.

Re: £180 million. BFC
From my interpretations of the very many words written about the takeover, then it may have cost less than £180 million. Certainly if the ‘dry powder funds’ of £30 million (?) carefully squirrelled away has now been used as part of £200 million buy out. All of this of course done by putting the club...

Re: The Orient Game Season. How did the other teams do ?
I remember the numb feeling approaching the Orient match as if everything was lined up against us. The talk around town about people going on to attend the last rites, including coming from overseas. Even John Kettley included this at the end of his lunchtime weather forecast. I had been convinced f...

Re: Paul Weller - Pie and a Pint Podcast
One signing he did make that season was Kurt Nogan who, for me, was the second best striker we had in the 90’s after Andy Payton. Think he only joined towards the end, who knows how we could have done with him signed instead at the time we got Liam Robinson? Phenomenal player, sad how it ended. Wou...

I seem to remember that there is an issue with development / new Bob Lord stand in terms of the footprint depth required to make a two tiered stand. Even with extending as far I back as the building’s / wall that align with the pavement. Probably need to extend into what is now pitch side.

This is as old as they come and as always annoyed me too.
Best way to stop this is for the referee or linesman to indicate where the ball went out and if they throw from the wrong position then it should be classed as a foul throw. This will then stop overnight.

This was originally a post about one of the most popular comedies in history being re-run again on BBC 1.
There are dozens of television programmes available nowadays, so if you are outraged about this or outraged because people are outraged by Fawlty Towers, don’t watch it, watch another programme.

I think he got drawn to the through ball and wasn’t expecting the player to connect so well. Would probably have had a better chance of saving if he stayed on his line. Instantaneous decision that a lot of goalkeepers would have made.

His psychopath tendencies usually ends in self destruct, as happened at Sunderland and Ipswich.
