It’s got to the point that it probably would benefit us to let the other team take our throw ins. In fact all our set pieces.

Vithinio is what he is a championship utility player. The fact that Kompany who like the rest of us has witnessed his ineptness at right back this season thought we’ll try him on the left is amazing.

Crikey, Very good is a stretch. Only saw any glimpse of talent after the W/C. Very deserving of his place in the team of the year. But some fans deffo are re writing history. Zaroury was absolute class last season. Maybe he wasn’t ’as good’ after the World Cup due to the ridiculously high standards he had set but I still remember him taking full backs to pieces like at home to Preston. Wingers who are genuinely two footed and can cross on the run are a rare find. Even mo...

Shrewsbury away (replay) which was the game prior to the fantastic Sheffield Utd 2-2 draw always pops into my mind. Deary sent off, 1-0 down and only minutes left on the clock. Pretty sure I read once that Rawtenstall drew Glasgow Rangers in a cup draw in the 1890’s but the game was never played.
Rossendale United would have been better having a ground as someone posted above on Marl Pits or the land next to the train station.

With allowing the Luton goal to stand they have now set a new precedent. To be honest I thought they would disallow City’s goal last night as it was against another ‘big team’.

Game going pretty much as expected after seeing the line ups. Under England these days you know in the first hour or two what the result is going to be doesn’t seem to much tactical thought out into the game.
