Re: ALK Capital or Farnell/Elkashashy takeover
Think the northern powerhouse ideal was over egged. Yes. ALK have an interest in contributing to the local and wider economy but not some mind blowing, seismic shift as DJW was suggesting. Although I get the point he was trying to make. I think everyone will be pleased come the end of January and b...

Very little consideration has been given on this thread around the value that each perspective buyer has but on the club. It’s not a given that they both value, and therefore offer, the same amount for the club.

I don’t think so. There’s still so many things that can happen along the way. That said, the other bid was certainly some way ahead. If that’s still the case, only time will tellclarethomer wrote: ↑Fri Nov 20, 2020 10:43 pmSo ALK are wasting their time if BFC have allowed the other bid to go through the directors test with the epl?

The club will have usually communicated an intention to move forward with a bid prior to them going taking it to the league. A lot of work is involved.clarethomer wrote: ↑Fri Nov 20, 2020 10:09 pmThanks, so it's reasonable to expect that BFC want to get both parties to that stage before making a decision?
