I thought they were very fair, and focussed far more on Spurs qualities under Postecoglou than our deficiencies.
My only quibble would be that they didn't show the excellent Amdouni shot in the first half.

Thank God! Really? So you don't think a player of Dier's quality and experience would add something to our squad? (Not the greatest player to win an England cap, obviously, but an established PL player who has been on the periphery of the England squad for about a decade). Edit: Also just thought -...

Not sure in our current state we’d have gone to Luton and won, especially with the euphoria / bounce they’d have had with it being their first home game. We could easily have been looking at three defeats. Both games were very tight affairs last year that could have gone either way and we didn’t be...

The supporters coaches were stuck in a traffic jam at the top of Ormerod Road, heading towards the Fire Station, half an hour after the game. (No idea why they were going that way.) I wouldn't be surprised if the team coach was on the M65 before they were. Interesting, but still most likely that th...

The defended well, Foderingham was excellent, and they scored a good goal and had another good chance (despite our huffing and puffing I never felt we were actually going to score). I think he could have been a great player for us in the Championship, but he picked up a serious knee injury and has been out for about 6 months.
That, plus our promotion, probably ended our interest in him.
Excellent acquisition for Hudds if he recovers his pre-injury form.

Probably depends on who we are playing and how long the players have played together.
I guess you could say that the first team was similar to the one that lost 6-0 in March, whereas the 2nd one, deliberately picked by VK, to try to counter City only lost 3-0 in their first competitive game together.

Villa will win easily today. Really can't see there being much in it. Everton played well last week but can't score. They will - typically - be hard to breakdown. Not sure how he can discuss terms of another contract with Villa now, for a buy back that may never happen I agree that that's difficult, but you have to look at it from Ramsey's point of view.
