I'm saying the team had an overall cohesion, from playing 46 games together. That was ripped up with 4-5 starters all left at once.

Would have been better off keeping a side who know each other, inside and out

It should be crystal clear to all but dimwits that Kompany has it figured out. The team is improving as he said it would. Cant argue with his intent and commitment. Nobody around could come in and make it better. We are in transition, and his squad under his guidance will come good . No doubt about...

This is the same Tella that hasn’t broken in to a Bundesliga side (much lower quality than the Prem) and THB who didn’t get another Prem offer?

Not convinced by either. THB is in the championship and probably doing as well as last year (nobody in the prem fancied a punt on the England U21 Captain - hardly an unknown) and Tella didn't do much last time he was in the prem. No guarantees either way but I think they wouldn't have made a signif...

The new group stage of the Champions League is going to be the most pointless exercise ever. At present the group stage has 32 teams, and it takes 48 games to eliminate 16 of them. With the new system, there will be 36 games and it will take 144 games to eliminate 12 of them. And UEFA think that it...

Sure a few will leave, thats expected, but in my opinion we will retain a large main core and won’t be under as much pressure to sell as last time. But I will note that’s dependant on who is manager. It’s not an argument from authority though, I’m not saying your questioning of why Muric isn’t playing isn’t valid because Kompany has more authority. I’m just explaining why I think he is playing Trafford ahead of Muric, and that’s because he thinks he’s a better keeper. We know that you think Mur...
