Every year it's the same rubbish. It's a choice to wear a poppy, not a mandatory requirement. His reasons for not wearing a poppy are understandable, given his heritage, upbringing and the depth of local feeling in and around the Derry area. Not really. A 20 goal a season striker at Burnley in the PL would probably mean us doubling our transfer record fee, and then a wage would have to reflect that.
