Impossible to know. Fulham went up the other year, playing super football, spent big and went straight back down. It’s a minefield. What promoted clubs really need is for a couple of the top tier clubs to have a nightmare season.

The Brizzle disallowed winner against fiddlers was the same situation as the Barnes incident.
Lino on same side as the striker sees him first so sticks flag up, just as tight as the Barnes call
but if on the other line he’d see the defender first and probably give the goal.

Everton bid £15m for Ndiaye of SheffU. Might not stop their promotion push but would certainly aid our title push, especially as they are under transfer embargo.

The fact that he can’t make the squad of the team sat at the bottom of the PL would support this.
