Rome is ace. Plenty of decent restaurants if you look in the right places and do some prior research.

why not make it that season ticket holders get first choice for away games, ticket office opens 9 am que up for tickets and purchase number of tickets to each season ticket, I know its going back a bit but thats how it used to be. Got lucky at the bag drop as a new desk opened just as we arrived. Queue 5 minutes. Security queue 15 mins. Seemed very well organised. Queue for coffee 15 mins. Sat on plane ready to rock on roll!!

The other issue is new jobs in the airport can take months to go through because of all the security checks. Some can’t be arsed waiting months and need money now so go elsewhere. So it’s a very slow process.

I park off LyndHurst Rd usually on Thursfield/ Linby or Linden St. If I leave on 90mins I’m generally on the M65 10 minutes after getting in the car. If you wait for full time whistle 20 minutes.

If you’re above a certain age the community fire safety team from Lancs fire and rescue can come round, give you advice and maybe fit new alarms. An electrician maybe able to sort the issue. If it’s not battery then it must be an electrical issue. B&Q or the like sell the fire angel type smoke alarm...
